Prime Minister Imran Khan says more good news is coming in the economic arena, the consumer price index and inflation have come down since we came to power.

In a statement on the social networking site Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that inflation and the core price index were high when the government took over, which was controlled.

More good news on the economic front. Our efforts to reduce inflation are now showing results. Consumer price index & core inflation are both now lower than when our government was formed. I have told my economic team to stay vigilant & ensure that inflation stays under control.

He said that the measures taken to control inflation have been effective and the economic team has been mobilized to further control inflation.

In a statement, Prime Minister Imran Khan also said that he had instructed the economic team to remain vigilant and keep inflation under control.
