Bristol University not offers Islamic history degree, news claims Imran’s son islamic degree from Bristol
The University of Bristol has said it doesn’t offer a degree in Islamic History after several Pakistani digital sites falsely claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s son Kasim Khan has graduated in Islamic History from the University of Bristol.
An investigation by The Pakistan Daily has revealed that neither the University of Bristol nor the University of West England in Bristol offers Islamic History or any course in Islam. These are the two major universities in Bristol and both have denied offering such a course at the graduation level.
It should be noted that in societies like Pakistan, the practice of using religion for politics is common. The process of presenting other influential people of the state, including the Prime Minister of Pakistan, as the greatest servants of religion and the caliph or ameer ul momineen of the Islamic state, usually continues. Religion is often used to overthrow governments. Incumbent Prime Minister Imran Khan has also been criticized by the opposition for marrying a Jewish woman and living in the UK with the children’s mother.
