Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Samiul Haq (JUI-S) chief, Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq, was tragically among three individuals who were martyred following a powerful and devastating suicide blast that tore through the halls of Akora Khattak’s renowned Darul Uloom Haqqania in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
. Both the chief secretary and the Inspector General confirmed this heart-wrenching incident on Friday.
Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq had assumed the leadership of JUI-S following the assassination of his father, Maulana Samiul Haq, in 2018. Maulana Sami-ul-Haq was brutally stabbed multiple times at his home in Rawalpindi, a crime that shook the nation.
Details reveal that the explosion occurred within the seminary walls soon after the solemn Friday prayers, as reported by the city police officer.
