Govt increases petrol price by Rs3
The government on Tuesday raised the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs5 to share the impact of rising international prices with the consumers.
The price of petrol has been increased by Rs3 to Rs103.69 per litre from the existing Rs100.69.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been pushed to Rs108.44 per litre from the current price of Rs105.44, a rise of Rs3.
Kerosene oil went up by Rs5. It will now sell for Rs70.29 a litre.
The new prices will be effective from 12am on Wednesday.
