
In a stirring address, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir passionately declared that India will never be able to erase the memory of its embarrassing defeat in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, a bold Pakistani military campaign that compelled the adversary to call for a ceasefire.
During the poignant passing out parade of Pakistan Navy cadets at PNS Rahbar on a bright Saturday, COAS Asim Munir underscored the essential and unbreakable bond between the nation’s valiant armed forces and its people, which remains crucial for the nation’s progress.
With pride, he extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly commissioned cadets hailing from brotherly countries such as Turkiye, Bahrain, Iraq, and Palestine.
According to this esteemed military leader, naval warfare is swiftly transforming, and the maritime security challenges in the region are intensifying, making it imperative for Pakistan to sustain a powerful and vigilant maritime force.
Addressing the ever-pressing issue of regional security, he vowed with unwavering determination to see the war on terror reach its rightful conclusion and asserted that the pivotal Marka-e-Haq, or ‘Battle for Truth’, against India will be eternally remembered.
Criticizing India’s arrogance and aggressive tactics, he firmly stated that it is Pakistan’s resolute responses that have averted a more extensive conflict in the region.
Despite India’s provocations, Pakistan showed restraint, and today Pakistan is recognised as the “Net Regional Stabiliser” in South Asia.
The Field Marshal stressed the need to resolve the Kashmir dispute, highlighting the ongoing struggle of Kashmiris against India’s illegal occupation.
He urged Pakistanis to remember the Kashmiris during these times and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for Kashmir’s right to self-determination and its commitment to resolving the Kashmir issue.
Earlier in the day, a grand passing out parade was held at Pakistan Naval Academy PNS Rahbar in Karachi to mark the completion of the 123rd Midshipmen and 31st Short Service Commission courses.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir graced the occasion as the chief guest.
