A splendid dinner was hosted by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the distinguished Chief of Army Staff, to honor the steadfast political leadership, unwavering commitment of the Armed Forces, and the indomitable spirit of the resilient people of Pakistan as displayed during the grand endeavor of Marka-e-Haq – Operation ‘Bunyan-un-Marsoos’.
The illustrious event was graced by eminent figures including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, numerous federal ministers, governors, chief ministers, as well as the honorable Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the esteemed Chiefs of Air and Naval Staff.
The participants fervently paid tribute to the wise and sagacious leadership that guided the nation through a pivotal moment, celebrated the bravery and sacrifice of the Armed Forces, and lauded the steadfast patriotism of the people of Pakistan.
In his eloquent remarks, the Field Marshal expressed deep gratitude to the political leadership for their visionary strategic foresight during the significant Marka-e-Haq. He praised the seamless inter-services coordination that ensured the triumphant success of operation ‘Bunyan-un-Marsoos.’
He also recognized the steadfast role of Pakistani youth and media in countering India’s disinformation campaign, describing them as a ‘steel wall’ against harmful propaganda.
Furthermore, the COAS commended the remarkable contributions of Pakistani scientists, engineers, and diplomats, whose professionalism and determination were crucial during the conflict.
