اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان نے شرحِ سود میں اضافہ کر دیا۔

اسٹیٹ بینک نے مانیٹری پالیسی کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے شرحِ سود ساڑھے 11 فیصد سے بڑھا کر 12 فیصد کر دی ہے۔

میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک جمیل احمد کا کہنا ہے کہ شرحِ سود 50 بیسز بڑھا کر 12 فیصد کر دی ہے

جمیل احمد نے  کہا ہے کہ مہنگائی کی وجہ سے شرحِ سود میں اضافہ کیا گیا ہے۔

ان کا کہنا ہے کہ ایم پی سی کے 10 میں سے 9 ممبرز نے شرحِ سود میں 50 بیسز پوائنٹس اضافے کے حق میں ووٹ دیا۔

گورنر اسٹیٹ بینک نے کہا ہے کہ تیل کی قیمتوں میں حالیہ اضافے کا اثر ہوا ہے، جس سے مہنگائی کی شرح میں اضافہ ہو رہا ہے، پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتیں 100 ڈالرز سے اوپر رہی ہیں، گندم کی قیمتیں بھی بڑھی ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ جیوپولیٹکل حالات کی وجہ سے توانائی کی قیمتیں بڑھی ہیں، کمیٹی نے جائزہ لینے کے بعد فیصلہ کیا کہ شرحِ سود میں 50 بیسز پوائنٹس کا اضافہ کیا جائے۔

جمیل احمد کا کہنا ہے کہ ستمبر کے اجلاس کے مقابلے میں حالات خراب ہوئے ہیں، مہنگائی اور جاری خسارے کی توقعات کچھ بڑھ گئی ہیں، ایکسپورٹس اتنی نہیں جتنی درکار ہیں، لیکن بہتری ہے، رواں مالی سال معاشی نمو 3.5 سے 4.5 فیصد رہے گی۔

ایل پی جی کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے بعد ملک میں مہنگائی کا نیا طوفان آگیا، آٹا، گوشت، سبزیاں اور دالیں سب کی قیمتیں بڑھنے لگیں۔

کئی شہروں میں آٹے اور دالوں کی قیمت میں پچاس روپے اور مرغی کے گوشت کی قیمت میں سو روپے فی کلو اضافہ ہوا۔

لاہور میں ایل پی جی کی بیشتر دکانیں بند ہوگئیں۔

مختلف شہروں میں ایل پی جی ساڑھے پانچ سو سے ساڑھے چھ سو کے درمیان دستیاب ہے۔ 

شہریوں نے اشیائے ضروریہ کی قیمتوں میں کمی کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔

سابق چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف جنرل (ر) عبدالوحید کاکڑ راولپنڈی میں انتقال کر گئے۔

آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق پاک فوج نے مرحوم کو نمایاں عسکری خدمات، قیادت اور پاکستان آرمی کے لیے قابلِ قدر خدمات پر خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا ہے۔

پاک فوج کے شعبۂ تعلقاتِ عامہ نے کہا ہے کہ پاک فوج سوگوار خاندان کے غم میں برابر کی شریک ہے اور اہلِ خانہ سے دلی تعزیت کرتی ہے، اللّٰہ تعالیٰ مرحوم کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطاء فرمائے اور لواحقین کو صبر و استقامت دے۔

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے سابق آرمی چیف جنرل(ر) عبدالوحید کاکڑ کے انتقال پر دکھ کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے پاک فوج کے لیے ان کی گراں قدر خدمات پر خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا ہے۔

صدر مملکت آصف زرداری نے سابق آرمی چیف جنرل (ر) عبدالوحید کاکڑ کے انتقال پر دکھ اور اہلِ خانہ سے دلی تعزیت اور ہمدردی کا اظہار کیا۔

صدر مملکت کا کہنا ہے کہ اللّٰہ تعالیٰ مرحوم جنرل (ر) عبدالوحید کاکڑ کو جوار رحمت میں جگہ عطا فرمائے، سوگوار خاندان کو صبرِ جمیل دے۔

Pakistan defeated England by one wicket in the fourth match of the tri-nation ODI series. Shadab Khan made the impossible possible by putting on an 89-run partnership for the last wicket with Haris Rauf and led the national team to victory.

In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, Pakistan achieved the target of 242 runs in the 48th over. Shadab Khan played an unbeaten innings of 113 runs. He scored the first century of his career while batting brilliantly.

In response to the target of 242 runs set by England, Pakistan did not have a very good start. Half the team, including Babar Azam, had reached the pavilion at 102 runs. Then 9 wickets had fallen at 154 runs and the match could have ended at any time, but Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf came together as the last wicket.

 Haris stopped and Shadab slowly started to push the score forward. Shadab completed 50 runs off the first 52 balls, hitting seven fours and a six, then the partnership between the two started to strengthen.

After being declared not out on review at 97, Shadab Khan completed his century. With the help of 12 fours and four sixes in 92 balls, he scored the first century of his ODI career and after getting new life, both players scored the remaining 21 runs to take Pakistan to the final of the Tri-Nation Series.

Player of the Match Shadab Khan remained unbeaten on 113 runs, Haris Rauf scored 7 runs, Saad Baig scored 32, Salman Agha 26, Hassan Nawaz 15, Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman scored 10 runs each.

Jamie Overton took three wickets, while Atkinson and Dawson took two wickets each.

Earlier, the England team, batting first against Pakistan, was bowled out for 241 runs in 46.4 overs.

For England, Ben Duckett played a brilliant innings of 105 runs off 111 balls, while Sam Curran stood out with 42 runs off 52 balls.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 4 wickets for 46 runs, while Razaullah took 2 wickets for 38 runs.

Arafat Minhas took 2 wickets for 26 runs, while Haris Rauf took one wicket for 55 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and decided to field. Speaking after the toss, England team captain Harry Brook said that if we had won the toss, we would have batted first.

On this occasion, Pakistan team captain Shaheen Afridi said that an additional spinner has been added to the team, two changes have been made to the team, Razaullah will make his debut, while Shadab Khan has returned to the team.

Shaheen Afridi said that Naseem Shah injured his finger during warm-up, while Faheem Ashraf has been dropped from the team.

The Sindh Home Department has officially formed a joint investigation team (JIT) to investigate the murder of Mir Raza Ali, sending letters to all relevant institutions to nominate their representatives.

DIG Irfan Baloch will lead the JIT, and the Sindh government has written to the concerned agencies asking for officer nominations for the investigation.

The letter states that the JIT will comprise senior representatives from the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB), Pakistan Rangers Sindh, and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). The institutions have been asked to nominate officers of Grade 18 or above as team members.

The murder case of Mir Raza Ali was filed at Karachi’s Ferozabad Police Station.

Earlier, a one-member inquiry commission led by Justice Umar Sial submitted its report on the case. The Sindh Home Department formed the JIT based on the inquiry commission’s recommendation.

AFP:Riyadh: The Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen’s Houthis said on Saturday it had intercepted a ballistic missile launched towards Riyadh by the Iran-backed group.

Two explosions rang out in Riyadh early Saturday, an AFP journalist in the Saudi capital said, as the Houthis keep up strikes on the kingdom.

An early warning system was activated to alert residents to a potential threat, the Saudi civil defence said.

“Air defences intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi terrorist militia toward Riyadh,” coalition spokesman Turki al-Malki posted on X.

A drone was also intercepted in the country’s Eastern Province, al-Malki said in an earlier post on Saturday.

Saudi Arabia has come under sustained attack from the Iran-backed group this month, including a strike on Riyadh’s international airport that was the country’s deadliest in years.

Tehran has denied having anything to do with attacks by the Houthis after Saudi Arabia accused Iran of having encouraged the group’s escalation against the kingdom.

Following an uneasy four-year truce, fighting reignited in Yemen in July, months into the US-Iran conflict that has plunged the wider region into crisis.

The Yemen conflict has killed hundreds of thousands of people in one of the world’s poorest countries, which was already suffering a vast humanitarian crisis.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has taken action against three companies in Gulistan-e-Jauhar for their alleged involvement in online activities, including the suspected sale of obscene animated content. Investigations into possible child exploitation are also underway, according to News channel.

Per the NCCIA, those arrested during the operation include the companies’ owners and employees. Deputy Director Shahzad Akbar noted that the agency seized 19 mobile phones from Pixel Craft, a company operational for nearly two years.

The agency also confiscated five mobile phones from a firm named Art Office. In another action, 17 mobile phones were seized from an art design company with 17 staff members.

The companies were reportedly engaged in providing logo design, banner creation, and digital design services to international clients. Yet, investigators are probing allegations that social media accounts were run under women’s names and fake identities.

The NCCIA has additionally started scrutinizing the suspects’ digital communications and social media account records as part of the probe into the alleged online activities and the sale of obscene animated content to foreign buyers.

The agency said further legal measures would be taken in light of the evidence gathered and the investigation’s findings.

Previously, the NCCIA had arrested 42 individuals allegedly linked to a case of child sexual exploitation and pornography, Deputy Director Shahzad Akbar stated on Friday.

French President Emmanuel Macron has reacted strongly to US President Donald Trump’s statements regarding unrest in France.

Donald Trump has blamed immigrants for the violence and looting that erupted during protests against inflation and rising costs in France.

Speaking to reporters during his visit to Qatar, Emmanuel Macron strongly reacted to the US President’s statements regarding the recent situation in France, saying that false information was spread after the looting incidents in France, which resulted in many figures, including foreign leaders, making unacceptable and stupid comments.

On this occasion, a journalist asked the French President if he was referring to Donald Trump, to which Macron replied that he was referring to others, including him.

He said that images created using artificial intelligence (AI) are also circulating on social media, showing scenes from France that did not actually occur.

Emmanuel Macron says that some foreign leaders are using these materials and misleading narratives for their own political purposes.

He said that claims of a mass attack or invasion of France by immigrants and Islamists are completely false.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot has also expressed his reaction in this regard.

He said that the Foreign Office is ready to provide the necessary clarifications to the relevant countries to prevent the further spread of misinformation and baseless claims.

It should be noted that Donald Trump, in his statements, linked the ongoing protests and violence in France to immigration and urged the French president to close the borders.

The US president also claimed that Paris would soon become a Muslim city.

سندھ ہیلتھ کیئر کمیشن نے کورنگی میں 20 روزہ نومولود میں منکی پاکس وائرس کی تصدیق کے بعد ملیر 15 کے علاقے میں واقع ابن حسن اسپتال سیل کردیا، اس دوران اسپتال کے عملے اور مبینہ اتائیوں کی جانب سے مزاحمت کی گئی، جس پر پولیس کی مدد حاصل کی گئی۔

سندھ ہیلتھ کیئر کمیشن کے مطابق ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر (ڈی ایچ او) کورنگی کی شکایت پر معاملے کی تحقیقات کی گئیں تو انکشاف ہوا کہ نومولود کا ختنہ کرنے والے مرکز کے زیر استعمال آلات میں منکی پاکس وائرس موجود تھا اور ڈاؤ لیبارٹری میں بچے کے نمونوں کی جانچ کے دوران وائرس کی تصدیق ہوئی۔

بیان میں کہا گیا کہ کمیشن نے ڈی ایچ او کورنگی اور ایس ایس پی کورنگی کے تعاون سے سعودآباد پولیس اسٹیشن کی حدود میں قائم ابن حسن اسپتال کے خلاف کارروائی کی۔

حکام نے بتایا کہ اسپتال غیرقانونی طور پر چلایا جا رہا تھا، جہاں غیرمستند عملہ بچوں کے ختنے کر رہا تھا اور کارروائی کے دوران اسپتال کے عملے نے مزاحمت کی اور اپنے ساتھیوں کو بھی طلب کرلیا، جس کے بعد پولیس کی مدد سے اسپتال کا معائنہ کیا گیا۔

حکام کے مطابق کارروائی کے بعد مبینہ اتائی اور دیگر افراد موقع سے فرار ہوگئے۔

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Moeizu, during which they discussed matters of mutual interest and the current security situation in the region.
