Inexperienced England whitewash Pakistan 3-0 in ODI series

England defeated Pakistan by 3 wickets in the third ODI to win the series 3-0. The English team achieved the target of 332 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 48 overs.

England’s James Owens was named Man of the Match while fast bowler Saqib Mahmood was named Player of the Series.

In the match played in Edgbaston, England won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first.

In pursuit of the target, England’s James Vance and Louis Gregory batted brilliantly, both playing 102 and 77 runs respectively.

James Owens’ innings included 11 fours while Louis Gregory hit 3 sixes and 6 fours.

For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took four wickets, Shadab Khan two and Hassan Ali one.

Batting first, Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored 158, Mohammad Rizwan 74 and Imam-ul-Haq 56.
