One week deadline for demolition of 450 shops in Aladin Park,Karachi

The Supreme Court Karachi Registry has given a week to demolish 450 shops of Allah Din Park and its adjoining pavilion club.

Administrator, Commissioner Karachi, Director Anti-Encroachment appeared in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry.

Pictures of the action taken by the authorities against the encroachments were presented to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court said that you have made holes in the walls, you were asked to demolish shops and pavilion clubs.

“These are 450 shops that have goods in them. We need 10 to 12 days to demolish them,” said the director of anti-encroachment.

The Chief Justice remarked that you will not get any respite now, you know what will happen to you if the clubs and shops are not demolished.

Chief Justice of Pakistan said that children used to live in this park, you built clubs and shops there, you get Rs. Function, you have 7 days, drop everything.

Advocate Faisal Siddiqui appeared in the Supreme Court and said that we want to help KMC, 400 shops were leased by KMC.

The Chief Justice said, “Mr. Siddiqui, what are you saying, how did this lease come about?” We will not listen to you.

Faisal Siddiqui said that KMC has no money, we want to help them.

Expressing anger, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that Siddiqui Sahib should remain silent or go out.

The Supreme Court directed the KMC to provide you with the required heavy machinery for this purpose.
