Arya Banerjee, who played the role of Shakeela in Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture, was found dead at her residence in Kolkata on Friday.

According to the police, Arya Banarjee domestic help got suspicious after she did not respond to door bells and phone calls in the morning. She then informed the neighbours who called the police. The police broke open the door to her apartment and found the body lying in the bedroom.

Arya Banerjee had acted in ‘LSD: Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ (2010) and other films besides ‘The Dirty Picture’ (2011).
