
The March 31 deadline for Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan concludes today (Monday), marking the beginning of their return journey to their homeland, Afghanistan.
In parallel, an Afghan Refugees Peace Committee convened near Thokar Niaz Baig, showcasing a vibrant gathering of community elders and family heads.
Addressing the media, committee vice president Haji Muhammad, who has spent 45 meaningful years in Pakistan, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warmth and respect they received.
He appealed to the government to carry out the repatriation in a phased manner, providing sufficient time for those with registration cards to wrap up their businesses.
Committee focal person Muhammad Khan highlighted that, after enjoying years of hospitality, Afghan refugees deserve a return marked with dignity and honor.
