Rs 200 per month would be charged for online large transactions, Deputy Governor SBP said
SBP Deputy Governor Seema Kamil said that a maximum of Rs 200 would be charged for a large transaction in a month, while online transfer of utility bills would not incur any transfer charges.
According to Seema Kamil, after the improvement in Corona’s situation, a fee has been fixed for the transfer of money.Transactions up to Rs 25,000 in a month will be free however Rs 10 will be charged for transactions of Rs 10,000 in addition to Rs 25,000.
Speaking on Tv News program, Deputy Governor SBP Seema Kamil said that before Corona, some banks used to charge Rs 100 and some Rs 400 for money transfers. However, charges for online money transfers were abolished during the Corona epidemic.
The Deputy Governor SBP said that there will be no charges on online purchase transactions up to Rs 10,000, transaction charges will be levied on online purchases of more than Rs 25,000 in a month.
